I have kids in both schools (elementary and high school) and all of them absolutely love it. Yes there is the occasional bullying like every other school in the world but the principals are on it every time when made aware. Teachers genuinely care about the kids and support them in every way possible. They also keep in touches with parents about a lot! It’s a small school so everyone knows everyone. Kids get more one on one with teachers as there is generally only about 15 kids in a class give or take. Homework isn’t toooo bad. It’s all around a great school with teachers that care.

Both my children have attended CCTS. One who graduated in 2019 and another is currently a Junior. We have never had any issues with this school and I feel that the teachers and administration go out of their way to make sure your child is receiving the best education they can get. I feel my kids were/are in a safe environment and I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants their child to attend a school that not only offers great education but also a head start on a career in a trade choice.

Two of my kids went to this school. School has experienced some decline since we moved here. It's disappointing to hear that the rating got dropped from an 8 to a 5 out of 10. The change is principle has a big impact, with the previous principal being highly regarded compared to the current one. Inconsistencies in teaching quality is also contribute to a declining perception of the school. Two of my kids learned completely differentily in two years gap. It might be worth addressing these concerns with the school or district administration to see if improvements can be made.

Our children are at Davenport Elementary, and we are very satisfied with the school. There is proactive involvement from the teachers and the principal allowing our children to excel. They also offer a number of special before school activities (could be violin, coding, etc.) at certain times of the year for student enrichment.

It was an absolutely horrible school with very bad teachers, back where I was enrolled here in about 09' we had horrible teachers and a principal who used to make fun of children, now that my daughter goes here, it's gotten worse, from stripping the right of using the restroom, to unneeded violations.

CES has been wonderful for our gifted child, who is in the lower school. We looked carefully at MCPS and Catholic schools and were worried about the huge class sizes and lack of differentiation. We also tried a different private school with small classes and although they said they would ensure our child's educational needs were being met, it just wasn't happening. CES has been impressive. When they say they get to know each child and help them thrive, they're NOT KIDDING, in our experience. For the lower grades where of course there are no tests to show mastery, the teachers conduct formal (but not stressful) one-on-one assessments on a regular basis - quarterly, I believe. They use these not only to help kids who are struggling, but also to make sure that once a child has mastered a skill, the child can *move forward.* SOOOO different than the "if you finish your class work quickly you can do some enrichment" approach! While remaining with age-peers (which we feel appropriate right now emotionally and socially), our child is working on different curricula based on what's been mastered. So the teacher is working with our child one year ahead in one area, and several years ahead in another. Our child is happy and thriving.

Global Vision Christian School Broadfording is an amazing community that is highly academic and heartwarming. With numerous AP courses and club activities, students at Broadfording are open to so many valuable experiences. As a Christian school, GVCSB is a loving and spiritual community where we feel the love and presence of God with regular spiritual activities. Faculty members care for every single student at GVCSB, and they dedicate themselves to taking care of the students with such hard work. Also, the diversity of the student body, with students from all around the world, including South Korea, China, Germany, Chile, etc., allows students to experience the unique cultures of the world.

Attending Jackson High School has made me feel many different emotions. On the outside, I have seen many negative reviews and experiences with this school. As a current student, I can say that it is not as bad as it seems. Some teachers are really kind, helpful, and supportive. As the years go on, Jackson High School is offering more courses and classes available. AP Classes are offered at this school and surprisingly, many students take on the challenge of joining these classes.

The experience you have will vary depending on the teacher you have. There is no accountability from the administration from the special education team. The culture overall for children with invisible disabilities is judgemental and intolerant. Discipline is the first resort in most situations. If you are forced to send your child to this school, have a backup option ready because the school system has known for years about problems at this school with special education and no visible change has been made to protect the families.

Roosevelt has been an amazing school for my kids. We have been there for the past 5 years. Project-based learning is such an immersive and engaging way to bring the kids into the topics, and it makes them really curious learners. I've been continually impressed with the depth of what my kids have learned at school. I especially love the school community. We've made great friends with the other families, and the teachers and staff are incredible.

The school has a diverse population and everyone is cared for as far as i have seen. The teachers are great and have a passion for what they do. No school is perfect. My children learned a lot and their teachers are great. They are trying their best. Thank you Babcock!

There is not a curriculum of any kind here. Teachers with teaching certifications or even teaching education or experience quit rapidly, even just this year, the only ones left are people with none. The principal ladie is…apparently a doctor? Sure. We were sold a really great idea. Emphatically courted until we signed a contract and paid, and then we were asked for “work days” and NORE money, nearly weekly. What we have witnessed in our daughter’s time there hasn’t just not been the marketed education and enrichment, it hasn’t been much of anything at all. She has actually lost math skills and I am worried about her reintegrating at a real school because of the academic damage of a full year with no teaching. Nobody at the school seems aware that the kids aren’t being taught anything except how to hike. There are kids (not little kids) in my kids class who cannot read. They are going through puberty illiterate, and unsupervised, it seems. If id wanted my family to join never never land, id have sought out a commune, not a school. We just got a random email from this school about a teacher who crashed while diving drunk with other people’s children in her car, but we’ve also been made aware by other parents that that wasn’t the situation at all, and the principal just told all us parents about it without even speaking to the woman in question first. Since there was no actual information about the incident in what was sent to us out of the blue, and no transparency of any kind, we don’t know what to believe. The children are being spoken to about the event by adults, but fancy doctor ladie doesn’t seem to have info, and has instantly abandoned a teacher, without any investigation of an incident? Or is it that drink drivers really DO work at this school? The injuries our kid has come home with don’t have any explanations, the nurse can’t even clean bloody children up before pickup. My child has told me that no adults are present at recess, which is all day some days, if they aren’t just hiking. Ticks are awful and no effort seems made about it. Trying to ask about this things in the office is funny to the people who work there, so I don’t bother anymore. I can’t believe we were swindled out of so much money so that we could watch our kid lose skills and be physically endangered at school. We will make sure anyone who asks knows what a joke this place is. I have heard how great clear springs is for years, it never occurred to me that its a front
